Loyal readers of the blog would be familiar with Raleigh, having been mentioned previously here and here.  To those who have read these posts, were you enthralled by the experiences of the venturers, eager to set foot on your own expedition? Well, wait no more, for this is your chance for an adventure of a lifetime!

For the unacquainted, Raleigh International is youth development organisation originally from the UK. Currently it has spawned support groups all over the world, with Malaysia’s being Raleigh KL. Raleigh aims to send youths off on expeditions where they can contribute to the local community as well as seek our their own adventure. As Borneo is one of the four current expedition sites, many Malaysian have opted to carry out their expedition there. Our venturers return from their expeditions seeing the world in new light, claiming it to be one of the most amazing things in their lives.

If you’re up for it, the first step is to participate in an Introduction Weekend. It is basically a 3days 2 nights camp prepared to expose aspiring venturers to the likes of an expedition, gearing them up for situations they may face on the actual event.

When is it? 26th to 28th October 2012

Meeting Point: International Youth Centre, Cheras (Note: MEETING point, not actually camping there)
